Why don't you make a bike tour with the whole family?
Especially in spring the views are very impressive. In between well maintained villages and old windmills you will see the glowing yellow of the rape flowers and the blue sea in the background.

Visit the Glücksburger water castle or the city of Flensburg with its beautiful harbor and merchant's houses.
Especially in the summer months, the region also shows with numerous events.

Examples are the Tumelum Flensburg, the Flensburg court culture, the famous steam Flensburg-round or the Day of German beer in the city of Flensburg, held every year on 23rd of April.

You can take a day trip to the Viking Museum in Schleswig, to the Plantarium in Glücksburg or to the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg. Especially for children is a visit to Legoland an unforgettable experience.
